Abco
The product line at Abco is a varied offering of furniture solutions in mid-market products constructed of commercial-grade materials. The vast majority of the line features seventeen high-pressure, Wilsonart laminates for horizontal surfaces and matching fused-on Melamine for vertical surfaces, all in a variety of edge treatments. Seven epoxy powder coat paint colors offer a durable, scratch resistant finish. Non catalogued items ship in 10 - 15 working days. There is a 10 year warranty on most products. Restricted custom modifications to existing product are offered. A portion of the line is on GSA.
Abco Office Furniture in Florence, Alabama, was founded by Bob Bevis in 1990. Bob was the previous owner of Bevis Custom Tables which was sold to Hunt Man. in 1995. Hunt sold Bevis to Hon in 1997. The original product line at Abco was the continuation of budget priced products that were successful for Bevis. Abco was sold to Jami, Inc, a holding company in Kansas City in 1994. Jami also owns Fixtures Furniture, Zoom Seating, Harter and Precision. The product line has been expanded to offer mid-market solutions for corporate and educational environments in metal base and laminate base furniture, training and conference tables & accessories, multi-purpose & utility tables, folding chairs & tables and office panels.
There are nine distinct price points in metal base computer workstations. The CFL & CFD Series, the Next Generation Series and Endure offer a variety of wire management and aesthetic options from a single computer table to complete U, L and corner groups in HP laminate. The CFS Series offers a beginning price point using fused on melamine.
The Unity Series offers laminate base desking and workstation configurations with HP laminate tops. Full or 2/3 modesty panels are offered on a variety of uniquely shaped work surfaces with grommets as standard. Built-in pedestals are offered in BF, FF, BBF and Combination configurations with a very large selection of workstations, desks, credenzas, extended corners & peninsulas.
The Modular Furniture Accessory offering includes 4 different hutch functions in both open back and full, finished back with tack board-any fabric can be used to cover tack boards. Hutches ship assembled and will span two work surfaces. A wide selection of pedestals, keyboards, bookcases & armoires, risers, reception centers and privacy panels are offered to complement both metal base and laminate base series.
