Taking great pride in craftsmanship, from the small basement to the corporation today, Carolina House continues to meet the demands of the office seating industry.

All frames are constructed from 5/4 hardwoods and double-doweled with glued corner bracing for tight joints. Only 5/4, 6/4 or 8/4 kiln-dried maple or ash wood is used for all exposed wood parts. All frames are made at the factory, which enables the factory to have control of the scheduling. All styles have sinuous spring or rubber webbing in the seat and back construction. Poly and cotton upholstery filling is used for inner construction.

Individual brass nail trim application is used on styles designed for this application.

Carolina House will do COM on most items. Standard finishes are available on any style in the line. Carolina House can also match other finishes if a wood chip is supplied.

Carolina House offers a full line of contract specification fabrics. Their comprehensive program encompasses a wide range of textures, colors, and weaves to fill your client's requirements.

Carolina House Furniture is a family owned business, which began full operation in 1975 in a basement. Carolina House was incorporated in 1977. Eventually they built more shop space, hired more employees, which totaled about forty and were shipping a forty-five foot trailer of residential furniture a day to meet demands. By the early 80's, they decided to pursue a different avenue of furniture and took a big chance in changing everything over to making only wood office seating. It was not long before they began to build a cliental and it increased rapidly. In turn, the product line increased. In 1989, Carolina House saw the need to build a frame facility. They now are able to control the service, the quality, and the styling of frames, continueing to increase in every aspect.
